New look, who dis?
This site has been in the works for months, since last fall and it has been an absolute labor of love. (Thank you to Lunar, Laura Austin & The Rare Form for all your creative genius).
Everything from the logo design, font selection, color scheme, copy and word choice, all of it is an extension of who I am at my core and what Caras Kitchen is all about.
What started out as a food blog that was just a hobby and an expression of my love for food whilst recoverying from an eating disorder has morphed, grown and transformed into a business designed to help empower others.
Caras Kitchen is fundamentally about you.
Your journey, relationship to food, your body and what it is you want to create with your life once everything is in alignment.
I am here to help you navigate the world of nutrition, understand how to become an intuitive eater who is empowered by your food choices, not victim of them and learn to love the skin you are in.
I know first hand how food impacts every area of our lives. What we eat effects who we are and how we feel which influences our energy, mood, relationships, productivity, creativity and passion for life.
Think about how much time each day you spend thinking about what to eat or not eat or should you eat at all.
How often are you counting calories or macros or worrying if a food is going to make you fat?
How many times in any given day are you feeling fatigued, unsatisfied and unhappy with the way that your body looks?
How often do you get seduced by the latest diet or "wellness" fad only to end up binging again and then feeling like a failure because of it?
How often are you feeling like you "fell of the wagon?"
How often do you turn to food when you are bored, stressed, tired, fatiged, lonely and depressed?
Now imagine no longer worring about any of it.
Imagine eating when you are hungry and stopping when you are full.
Imagine having a natural inclination towards eating vibrant, nourishing foods that make you feel GOOD!
Imagine understanding what foods are right for you and make you feel most alive.
Imagine no longer trying to lose weight because you are connected to what really matters in your life. And it's not "having the perfect body."

That's what Caras Kitchen is all about.
As a Holistic Health Coach I am here to guide you to the health and relationship with food and your body that you have always dreamed of but might not think is possible.
I will teach you how to listen to your body and develope body wisdom.
I will tell you what others are too polite to say.
I will hold you accountable for the changes you say you want to make.
I will help you learn to love your body and all that it can do.
I will help you change the way you think, relate and interact with food.
While it is going to be a crap load of fun..., it is also going to take some serious work.
You are going to have to show up for youself, commit to taking action and make an investment in your health that will pay massive dividens over time.
This is not a get thin quick or lose weight fast scheme. This is about real sustainable, life long change.
